We will carry out two projects in Pitas in 2010 to 2011.
The Clean Water Project and Library at Kg Madalan.
Population - 350 pe0ples
Race - Rungus, Dusun
Distance is about 250 km from Kota Kinabalu.
Accessibilty - on land and by the river.
Consist of five closely nected villages.
Statues - No school in the villages, student travel by boat for 2 hours to go to school. And no proper water supply very much depend on rain and well water. Liivelihood of the people- rubber taper.
The revisiting project for clean water and community development for tourism at Kg Berobang.
Population - 300 peoples
Race - Bajau, Rungus
Distance is about 230 km from Kota Kinabalu.
Accessibilty - on land and by the sea
Consist - A coastal village.
Statues - Only a small elementary school in the village, Secondary school student travel by boat to school. And no proper water supply very much depend on rain and well water. Liivelihood of the people- fishing and sea cucumber culturig .

Project - Kg Muhang
COMMUNITY SERVICE - REVISITING KG MUHANG ON CLEAN WATER SUPPLY MAINTENANCE AND PLANING A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 2010 TO 2011
AMAZING MT KINABALU AT KOTA BELUD THIS MORNING......
AND THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE OF RUNGUS........
AT KG MUHANG......
Kampung Muhang will be our focus on long term plan for our club in 2010 to 2011 to further development into a Rotary village with the introduction of community development. We had been revisiting the village to encourage the villagers to get themselve involve with our program call Rotarian corp - meaning by complimenting project and assisting the program in partnership.
